Elisabeth is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and a BACP registered psychotherapist. She specialises in existential-phenomenlogical therapy. The task of existential counselling and psychotherapy is to help the individual clarify and understand their way of living. The therapist assists client to move away from how things 'should' be and instead to explore new possibilities and new ways of living. Elisabeth has worked in a number of health care settings, providing therapy to a diverse group of clients. She specialises in relational difficulties, identity issues and trauma work. She is visiting lecturer with Regent's College School of Psychotherapy & Counselling and also teaches counselling skills at Hackney Community College. She is active in psychosocial research, exploring issues of identity, anxiety and belonging.
