Felix Economakis (Director) BA(hons), Dipl.Psych., MSc., PG.Dipl.Psychol., Dipl.Hyp., PG.Dipl.Hyp., SBST, BSCH, BPS.
Felix is a fully qualified Chartered Counselling Psychologist , coaching psychologist and hypnotherapist, having completed a 6 year full-time University training in London. During that time he also undertook a 2 year-long diploma and post-graduate diploma in clinical hypnosis. This lead to further training in Neurolinguistic Programming, of which he is a certified master practitioner, and diplomas in Brief Strategic Therapy from the Human Givens Institute and from the Brief Strategic Therapy Foundation. Felix has worked in the NHS for over six years, and has now been working full-time in private practice for over 2 years. He has featured in many TV, radio and magazine articles on a variety of topics.
Felix has a passion for studying many therapeutic approaches and then in combining the therapies studied to produce rapid and powerful interventions for a range of condtions, including self-confidence, traumas, depression and is acknowledged as one of the country's leading phobia practitioners. He has successfully treated hundreds of clients who have not benefitted from previous conventional therapies (see testimonials). BBC3's 'Freaky Eaters', currently airing on Tuesdays at 8pm until April 09, where Felix worked with 8 clients with severe Selective Eating Disorders. There was a 100% success rate even though Felix was asked to not employ his usual techniques in case of premature success.
BBC 3's "Panic Room"(April-May 07) a 6-part series where he successfully treated 6 people with severe phobias. Felix was later challenged by a journalist from the Daily Mirror to treat her phobia of pigeons, which he did in one session (for more information click on the above links). In the Nov 2007 issue of Time Out, journalist Hannah Kane wrote about her equally successful single session to cure her phobia of surgical operations. Dr. Jenny Davids BSc (hons), MSc.,Clinical Psych , BPS, MACP
Jenny is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and a child and adolescent psychotherapist (member of the Association for Child Psychotherapists). She has worked as a consultant in the NHS, the Anna Freud Centre and in private practice for many years. Jenny also works with adults. Her special interests are adoption, trauma and creativity.
Vanessa Schjelderup BSc, MSc., PG.Dipl.Psychol.,BPS.
Vanessa is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and specialises in using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Vanessa uses CBT for a range of issues, with a particular interest in social anxiety, self-image and self-esteem, and individual and corporate stress management.
Jeni Ross BSc. MSc., PG.Dipl.Psychol. BPS
Jeni is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and specialises in using Cognitive Behavioural and Systemic Therapy. She works primarily with OCD, body dysmorphia, depression and anxiety disorders. Jeni worked at the Priory Hospital in North London for several years where she continues to do sessional work. She has run workshops and lectures for the National Anxiety Disorders Conference and the Priory Hospital.
Julia Avnon BSc. MSc., PG.Dipl.Psychol. BPS
Julia is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and specialises in Cognitive Behavioural. Julia uses CBT for a range of psychological difficulties and focuses on CBT and systemic therapy with children. She also conducts cognitive and educational assessments with children with a focus on mild learning difficulties, ADD ADHD and dyslexia. These assessments include standardised instruments, clinical interviews, school visits and liaison and are followed by extensive reports and clear recommendations for schools and families. Julia trained and worked for 5 years at Great Ormond Hospital in London where she worked within the Psychological Medicine department and the neuropsychology team. Julia’s work with adults focuses on depression, anxiety, OCD and ADHD.
Evelyn Cooney BACP., BASRT. UKCP
Evelyn is a Relate licensed counsellor offering relationship
counselling and sex therapy for couples and individuals to help resolve
problems and conflict. The counselling can help with communication,
commitment, sexual difficulties, affairs, depression, family issues,
separation, divorce and life stages. She offers long term and short term
work.
Fabien DeCodts BA.; Dip.Hyp
Fabien is a qualifed clinical hypnotherapist; hypnoanalyst and NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer. He also acts as a professional assitant to Paul Mckenna in his weight-loss training courses and seminars. Recently Fabien has started training in the Human Givens Diploma for brief therapy solutions. He treats a variety of conditions with hypnosis, NLP and TFT and enjoys great success with his stopping-smoking cessations in just one session.
Dr. Anna Zohrabian MD, Phd, FBSCH
Anna is a medical doctor who has specialised in neurology and neuropsychology, and is a member of the British Neuropsychological Society. She specialises in Laser Therapy and received her Professor's Degree in 1984 in Moscow, where she worked as Senior Research Assistant at the Pain Clinic in the Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, Moscow. While working there, Anna successfully complemented conventional methods of treatment with Laser Therapy in patients with back pain syndrome. In addition Anna is also a lecturer in Medical Hypnosis at the London College of Clinical Hypnosis and is on the Editorial Board of The European Journal of Clinical Hypnosis.
Simone Cameron BA, Dipl (Personal Performance Coaching)
Simone specialises in career and life-work balance coaching. Relocating to San Francisco for five years offered her a unique perspective as she coached professionals from leading corporations who were looking to improve their lleadership skills, whilst adding meaning and balance to their life. She has a diploma in personal coaching from the most highly accredited coaching training course in the UK. Clients describe coaching as having 'a personal fitness instructor of the mind'. Simone helps people to find out what they really want from their lives and uses tools and techniques to keep them motivated and focused.
