Self-esteem

Self-esteem is the source from which many other problems can develop.

An underlying feeling of low worth leads to feelings of insecurity which can manifest as:

* insecurity in relationships
* people-pleasing
* perfectionism
* jealousy and possessiveness
* self-judgement and self-criticism
* feelings of worthlessness and powerlessness
* eating disorders
* anger (agressive self-esteem)

... and many other issues.

Recommended Therapy: As self-esteem is implicated with so many issues, therapy for self-esteem will depend on the nature of the self-esteem problem that is presented, but in general all therapists will have training in working with self-esteem issues.
