"According to the largest scientific comparison of ways of breaking the habit, hypnosis is the most effective way of giving up smoking".
- Robert Matthews, New Scientist Magazine, 31st October 1992:
Research has shown that of the people who quit smoking using will-power alone, only about 7% are successful. Nicotine gum replacement only leads to a slight improvement with only about 10% of people using gum succeeding in stopping. Patches lare only marginally better with about a 16% success rate. To put it another way around 84-90% of people using gums and patches fail. Those are not great results, and the process is not easy with will power till needed to persevere. In contrast, it's not uncommon for a good hypnotherapist to have a success rates in excess of 80%.

"...I just wanted to let you (Felix) know that it's now almost a year since my sessions with you and I've not touched a single cigarette since. Not bad considering I was a 40-a -day smoker before I met you! Thank you so very much for helping me get healthy again.." . Gary Rowe, Director.
